Woodgreen’s 43-acre site in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire, is one of the largest rehoming centres in Europe. Their dedicated team works tirelessly to provide safe shelter, expert care, and a brighter future for thousands of pets in need. As animal lovers, both Jack and I (Dan) have a deep connection to their mission. Having adopted rescue pets ourselves and even gone door-to-door returning escapee dogs during our rounds, supporting Woodgreen felt like a natural choice for us. That’s why, between June 2024 and June 2025, we pledged to donate 50p from every paid booking to Woodgreen Pets Charity. We’re proud to share that, thanks to your support, we donated a total of £1680 so far—helping make a difference.
In 2021, we hosted a special charity event to raise funds for Diabetes UK, a cause that’s close to our hearts. Thanks to the incredible support from our clients, friends, and local community, we raised a total of £1,382.60, which was donated directly to help fund vital research and support for those affected by diabetes.
We noticed whilst out on our rounds that LOTS of our local street signs were covered in dirt, barely readable and seemingly left for nature to take over. Not only is this unsightly but also potentially quite dangerous. That is why in 2021 we approached Peterborough City Council and gained approval to clean up street signs in our local area. Now whenever we see a dirty sign and have time and water to spare, we pull up and give it a good scrub.
